The moment has come. The 76th season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) gives another chance for the competing teams to prove which is the better school—athletics-wise, that is, especially in basketball.

The fans could not contain their excitement. The noise, color, and action at the opening games were a preview of what will transpire in the next several weeks.

The results of the first few games were a shock to some, but it only means that the succeeding ones would be more exciting for everyone.

In line with the “Hunger Games” theme of this year’s UAAP, may the odds be ever in your favor.
