Fountain of Youth

Zarzuela , true to its name presents a wonderful play of classic Filipino flavours.

Unique to Zarzuela is a tasteful menu whose offerings are all heirloom recipes.

Evident in the traditional menu is the diverse influence of other culinary cultures that have richly flavoured our own Filipino cuisine.

Love of Filipino food, love of preparing great Filipino food and love of sharing and celebrating with Filipino food…

Zarzuela was born out of a shared desire amongst partners to bring classic family recipes to a young new generation of Filipino diners, as well as to remind the rest of us of the pleasures from the true flavours of Filipino ingredients and recipes.  It desires to promote classic Filipino food as hip and happening.

Crab and Shrimp Relleno

Zarzuela is not Filipino fusion, but rather classic recipes personalized with the varied and each unique experience of how these dishes were prepared and enjoyed by each of the partners growing up.

The people behind the concept have taken a commitment to freshness of food and simplicity of preparation to preserve the integrity of their main ingredients.

A Filipino meal is always about celebrating in our own unique flavour and Zarzuela desires to serve its patrons an unforgettable Filipino feast in each and every one of their meals.

    Fountain of youth. Ha!Ha!

I wonder how many foreigners get the macabre humor of Filipinos – i.e. fountain of youth because you will not get old, all the cholesterol and fat will kill you early.
