Sights and smiles at the WNCAA opening
Unitas,’ the Latin word for unity, was the battle cry of host University of Asia and the Pacific at the start of the Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) season.
With the participation of the UA&P Firestarters and San Beda Alabang Jr. Red Lions Cheerleading Squad, the opening ceremony was a simple but classy act enhanced by indigenous music by Pinikpikan.
Given the league’s special focus on basketball, volleyball and cheerleading, this will be a more exciting year for women’s sports.
2bUltimate captured the sights and smiles at the opening rites of the country’s most prestigious women’s sports league.
