CAFÉ Macaron’s Doussant

The Raffles Makati has revealed Café Macaron’s best-kept pastry secret, the Raffles Doussant.

The decadent dessert is a hybrid of two classic treats, the buttery croissant and the cream-filled doughnut. The hotel’s version is an irresistible golden-brown delight that is lusciously soft and crunchy.

The luxurious array of Doussant flavors: raspberry, with a dusting of powdered sugar; Valrhona Guanaja, filled with rich Valrhona dark chocolate, spread with a dark chocolate glaze and sprinkled with dark chocolate pearls; cinnamon sugar-coated, with a creamy vanilla custard; honey-glazed, topped with local honey, almond slivers and premium white chocolate; and pistachio, with delicate pistachio-cream filling, a glaze of white chocolate and topping of chopped pistachios.

Only 200 are prepared daily.
