Flavors serves Elvis Presley menu

Mid-autumn fest at Makati Shangri-La

The Mid-Autumn Festival, popularly known as the Mooncake Festival in China, is celebrated at Makati Shangri-La, which offers a  variety of classic, snowskin and custard mooncakes until Sept. 20.

Mini mooncakes are priced at P388+; single traditional mooncake, P588+; eight pieces of mini mooncakes in a rectangular box,  P1,988+; four pieces of traditional-sized mooncakes in a square box and the two-tier deluxe mooncake box, P3,688+.

New pizza flavors at Papa John’s

Papa John’s offers new pizza concoctions such as the Tuscan Six Cheese, which is decked with the fine cheese variants (Mozzarella, Parmesan, Romano, Asiago, Provolone and Fontina) and finished off with Italian herb seasoning; and John’s Favorite, which comes in nine-, 12- and 14-inch sizes and combines pepperoni and sausage, spread generously on a base of six delicious cheeses.

New ‘designer’ pancake

Pancake House has come up with the Key Lime Pancake—lime-flavored custard slathered in between a tall stack of mini pancakes, topped with meringue and served with graham crumble.

Sushi fest at Inagiku, Makati Shangri-La

Makati Shangri-La’s executive Japanese chef Wataru Hikawa prepares a collection of sushi for Inagiku’s Third Wave Sushi until Aug. 31.

Hikawa features his handcrafted sushi creations and presents third wave sushi served with lemon and the finest sea salt from the abyss of Okinawa. Third Wave Sushi creations start at P250+.
