Jazz up your gadget chargers

Apply your creativity on your chargers and other techie accessories.

Gadgets are part of our everyday life, and so are their accessories, such as the chargers that keep them going. Aside from trying to keep them organized, we want to know which ones belong to which gadget, and to which owner.

The traditional way is to stick a label with one’s name or initials on the plug head. Here’s how to make chargers easier to locate and fun to look at.

By using washi tape, a decorative adhesive tape originally from Japan, you can do it.

You will need:

Washi tape—many designs are available in novelty stores and book stores for as little as P15.

Cut the tape and start sticking them carefully and neatly around the plug head. Make sure that the edges are aligned, and no space is left between each strip.

Note: Washi tapes can be used on any clean, dry surface. Be warned, however, that some materials may be difficult to strip off without damaging the underlying surface.
