Since the launch of its first timepiece Premier, which revolutionized mechanical watchmaking with its bi-retrograde perpetual calendar, Harry Winston has continued to build on the brand’s heritage to shape the future.

One of Harry Winston’s limited-edition timepieces is the sleek and sophisticated Midnight Minute Repeater, which is limited to 40 pieces in rose gold and 40 pieces in white gold.

The watch’s gold ring highlights two hammers engraved with Harry Winston’s  initials while the time indication, iconic arches and a single sparkling diamond adorning the offset window also reflect Harry Winston’s signature design.

COMPOSED of 18 layered parts, Project Z6’s complex dial uses five different finishes to create a highly dimensional design

As it was also created to audibly indicate time on demand, it features distinct tones to indicate hours, quarter hours and minutes.

Another limited-edition series is the brand’s Project Z6 collection (limited to 300 pieces), which shows a modern mix of  rugged aesthetic and refined mechanics to create the ultimate sports watch feel.

Original alloy

The Project Z series was first to introduce Zalium, a zirconium-based alloy used in aeronautical engineering. Its hypoallergenic and corrosive-resistant properties allow ultimate durability.

Project Z6 also features a hand-wound, 24-hour alarm clock movement (comprised of 340 pieces) exclusive to Harry Winston timepieces. The 45-jewel movement is also engraved with “Harry Winston” and a visible hammer is fixed to the case to show the alarm ringing and enhance exterior sound transmission.

Also made to appeal to active men who love all things high-tech is the Ocean Sport Chronograph, which is carved in Zalium making it a high-performance sports timepiece.

The 44m Zalium case frames an open-worked, three-dimensional, smoked blue sapphire dial while a skeletonized date disk turns steadily in order to clearly display the date.

For frequent travelers, Harry Winston’s Ocean Dual Time Monochrome shows the time in two different time zones: home time and local time. Each dial has its own day and night indicator and a large vertical date display, both unique to the brand.

Showing the juxtaposition of age and timelessness, it has a pre-aged dial with a hand-finished patina contrasted with a case made of Zalium for an elegant gunmetal luster.

For the first time, the brand also combines two sophisticated and complex features in a single timepiece with the Ocean Tourbillon Jumping Hour.

Ocean Sport Chronograph (in blue) offers a power reserve of 42 hours and is water-resistant to 200 meters

The tourbillon, usually located at the back of the movement plate, is now suspended from two gleaming steel bridges giving the illusion that it’s suspended in space.

Unlike many jumping hour watches, it has a minute hand, which has been specifically designed so that the hour window is never blocked.

With Harry Winston’s lineup of covetable watches, the brand, primarily known for its exquisite jewelry, makes its mark in the world of watchmaking.

Harry Winston is exclusively available at Adora, Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center, Makati City.
