Seasoned and aspiring models got the chance to be part of TRESemmé’s 2014 Runway Show as TRESemmé, the official hair partner of “Asia’s Next Top Model,” mounted the biggest casting call to hit the country.

These models strutted their stuff in front of a panel of expert judges: top model and PR maven Apples Aberin, sought-after fashion show director Robby Carmona and trendsetter Liz Uy.  If models want to make the cut, they have to prove that they have what it takes to claim that catwalk.

TRESemmé hit the streets of Pampanga, Dasmariñas, Baguio, Cebu and Davao, to find the best male and female models in the country to don the latest hair trends.

For the Grand Casting Call show, judge Apples Aberin shared how to make an impression: “Convey that you’re the perfect canvas for trendsetting style. When we cast models for TRESemmé’s 2014 Runway Show, we will look for models who are versatile and chameleon-like.”

The event’s host, Raymond Gutierrez revealed that the show itself won’t be easy. “It will be filled with simultaneous pop-up runways, so the models will have to stand out.”

“We’re also on the lookout for those with looks that can adjust to various fashion styles,” said judge Liz Uy. “We want models who can emulate High Street, Glam and Couture styles to highlight the different segments and hairstyles of the main fashion show.”

To help model hopefuls make sure that their hair is runway-ready and salon-gorgeous, consumers got a makeover with a minimal purchase of TRESemmé products onboard the TRESemmé Style Bus and in the pop-up salons. Here, they experienced what it’s like to have their own style team to get them runway-ready. At the pop up salons, they scored enviable ’dos and tried the revolutionary TRESemmé products.

TRESemmé’s correspondent, top fashion blogger Tricia Gosingtian, brought together both experienced and aspiring models and got the inside scoop on what it was really like to get tressed-up with the latest hair trends to hit the runway.

Only 200 of the hottest models will be chosen to walk the catwalk for TRESemme’s 2014 Runway Show on June 5.
