Today people celebrate uncompromised fatherhood dedicated to maintaining strong family relationships as well as recognizing the value of communication, and connecting with family members.

Victor Consunji, real estate mogul, believes that one’s outlook completely changes upon becoming a parent. “Life is no longer just about you and starts becoming about the stability of your child’s future.” He spends time with his two-year-old son Connor by listening to his little stories during the day and enjoying recreational activities.

“Today’s technology helps me stay organized, which translates to having more quality time with my family,” says Victor. The preloaded Office app in the Nokia Lumia 630 helps dads use their time wisely.

“With the availability of different applications and features in smartphones, for example the camera and social media, I am able to record special moments and share them with our relatives,” Victor says.

Jared Dillinger also agrees that having a child changes one’s life. “Because everything starts to revolve around your child, your goals and motivations start to change as well—from the way you carry yourself to the way you prioritize what is important, like providing for your family and their future.

“Despite my busy schedule, I try to make time for Haven, my 11-month-old daughter. We often watch movies on my smartphone because I’m usually on the go,” says the Filipino-American professional basketball player.

Jared believes that like any relationship, communicating with one’s child is very important.

“As a father, you must always establish strong communication with your children—letting them know what is good and what is bad. This, as well as maintaining a good connection with them, helps strengthen your relationship.

“Fortunately, practicing this has gotten much easier with all the technology available nowadays. I would be in trouble without a smartphone!” Jared says.

Brazilian-Japanese model Hideo Muraoka says children feel love from the amount of time you spend with them. “I enjoy setting aside a few hours a day to do something together, maybe go for a swim, play or read a book. It’s part of our life already,” says the father of four-year-old Daniella.

“Communication is key. As a father, you must be willing to connect with your children and understand their point of view,” he adds.

Hideo also finds that smartphones like his Lumia help him organize daily tasks and activities, and stay connected with loved ones, including his parents who live in Brazil. “There are many tools that smartphones provide that allow me to communicate with family—from phone calls to Skype, even photo- and video-sharing. Through these, my parents also get to see Daniella grow up.”

In any profession, performing at your best always matters. Uncompromised performance, especially for those who have other people depending on them, is expected. With the just-released Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim, fathers will find it easy and exciting to communicate and connect with their children—whether it’s enjoying watching videos together, listening to music or playing games.

The Nokia Lumia 630’s high-end technology, apps and features including Family Room and Kid’s Corner, and seamless Windows Phone 8.1 experience will empower fathers to connect on their own terms as well.
