The country’s biggest book fair, Manila International Book Fair, will mark its 35th anniversary on Sept, 17-21 at the SMX Convention Center of the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

 

The MIBF puts fiction best sellers, textbooks, graphic novels and educational materials under one roof. It will also host the year’s most awaited book launches and signings, author dialogues with readers, contests and other literary events.

 

The MIBF will also host exchanges among players in the publishing and academic industries.

 

MIBF will also mount the first ever DigiTech Manila Conference and Expo, which aims to provide and promote creative teaching techniques and learning technologies on Sept 19-20; and The Best of Anime, much awaited by local otakus, on Sept. 20 to 21.

 

MIBF is organized by Primetrade Asia, Inc. in partnership with Asian Catholic Communicators, Inc., Book Development Association of the Philippines, Philippine Booksellers Association, Inc., and the Overseas  Publishers Representatives Organization of the Philippines.
