thumbs upTo celebrate the 35 years of Jewelmer and to showcase its 2015 collection of bold baroque pearls and diamonds, an extravaganza and reception were held recently at the Philippine International Convention Center.

The show featured Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and her dance company, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and the University of Santo Tomas Choral Ensemble. Rhett Eala presented a couture collection, with some pieces handpainted by the designer himself.

What a journey this company has gone through. It started as the only supplier of our national gem to top jewelry companies like Van Cleef and Arpels, Buccellati and Bulgari.

It developed its own collection over the years. It has risen to world-class distinction, showing its wonderfully designed suites of cuffs, earrings, rings and neckpieces right beside Cartier, Bulgari and Chanel at market fairs and conventions.

The special pearl and diamond pendant commemorating Jewelmer’s 35th anniversary will evolve into an iconic piece, this we are sure of.
