The Philippines has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Asia.

This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bench opens the doors of its Bench Tower headquarters at Bonifacio Global City for the “Pink Ribbon Sale”—a month-long fair in collaboration with Pink For Life Foundation to help raise awareness on the disease.

With 25 fashion and lifestyle brands under the Suyen Corp., the “Pink Ribbon Sale” is a one-of-a-kind bazaar in time for the pre-holiday season.

Celebrity Benchsetters hold meet-and-greet sessions with fans. Any purchase from the Bench Pink Booth will give fans a chance to meet and greet their favorite celebrities.

Venue is at The Playground, basement of the Bench Tower, Rizal Drive, BGC. The sale is ongoing, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., until Nov. 30.

Offering up to 80-percent discounts are homegrown brands Bench, Kashieca, Human and Dimensione; international brands Aldo, Call It Spring, Celio, Charles and Keith, Cotton On, Cotton On Kids, Early Learning Centre, The Face Shop, F&X, La Senza, Mothercare, Pedro, Vero Moda; luxury labels Alberta Ferretti, Casadei, Karen Millen, Repetto, Eastland, Naked and Famous, Opening Ceremony and Swear.

Customers will be given free breast cancer awareness pins, pink balloons and pink popcorn (while supplies last).

They will also have a chance to win bonus prizes and Bench pink nail polish. Free nail art is given after a required minimum purchase.

Since 2007, Pink for Life has helped more than 700 women with Stage 1 and Stage 2 breast cancer.

Pink For Life has organized a new program with Novartis Healthcare Philippines that aims to help patients suffering from Stage 1 to 4 breast cancer to have sustainable access to a quality, effective and affordable medicines. Patients who qualify can get as much as 70-percent subsidy for their chemotherapy treatment.

Since it started in November 2013, the program has benefited more than 100 breast cancer patients.
