H&M isn’t just popular for its affordable style; it’s also known for its collaborations with hot fashion designers and style icons.

 

In the past, the Swedish brand has worked with Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Jimmy Choo, Comme des Garçons, Madonna, David Beckham, Beyonce and more.

 

This year, H&M has partnered with Alexander Wang, and the result is a collection of sexy and sporty pieces for men and women.

 

It will be released on Nov. 6, available at H&M in SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall.

 

Here’s a Super guide to help you snag the pieces you want.

 

The early bird catches the Wang. On Nov. 6, H&M will open its doors extra-early at 8 a.m.! So don’t be late. Designer collaborations are known to sell out super fast. And no, you can’t ask someone else to line up for you; the staff will not allow substitutions.

 

If you’re one of the first 10 people in line, you will receive a special book. Called “The First Ten Years,” the book celebrates H&M’s decade of collaborations and features behind-the-scenes photos, stories and interviews with the designers.

 

Bring a book, a magazine or your iPad. There might be long lines, so it’s important to have something to keep you occupied while you wait.

 

Figure out your budget. The cheapest item in the collection is the key ring (P499). The most expensive are the jackets (P16,990).

 

Bring your wish list. Each group will be given only 10 minutes to shop in the Alexander Wang X H&M area so you need to come fully prepared. Study the collection before going so you can figure out your budget and you can head straight for the items that are your top priority before checking out the rest of the collection. Stay connected, use the hashtag. Social media can be a really useful shopping tool. Get updates and keep yourself informed using the hashtag #alexanderwangxhm.

 

Wear comfortable and fitting-friendly clothes. Don’t wear anything bulky so you can try on pieces over your own clothes—like the jackets and the sweaters—in case the fitting room lines are crazy.

 

Bring socks. If you plan to shop for shoes (we can’t blame you, they’re pretty cool) and you aren’t planning to wear socks when you go shopping, bring a pair so you can make sure you get the right size.

 

Go with a friend. It would make purchasing decisions easier. Sometimes it’s important to have a voice of reason (or, in some cases, an enabler) when you shop.

 

Don’t lose your receipt. H&M has a strict three-day return and exchange policy for this collection. Your items must be in perfect condition. For hygienic reasons, accessories and undergarments will not be refundable.
