The Duty Free Philippine Fiesta Mall in Parañaque has been renovated.

“We wanted Duty Free Philippines to be on par with other global retail stores around the world but still with a Filipino touch,” said Lorenzo “Enchong” Formoso III, chief operating officer of Duty Free Philippines.

The latest renovation was done by French interior designer Philippe Larose in three phases over the past six months. The result is brighter interiors, with well-designed lighting.

Better variety

High-end foreign brands have been added for better  shopping variety.

Here, the country’s balikbayan can get  items they usually buy abroad and even share the shopping experience with their loved ones. This allows OFWs to bond with their families.

Husbands shopping for their wives will find bag brands Coccinelle, Ferrari, Coach, Fabbrica Pelletterie Milano (FPM) and Bridgeway, among others.

Its liquor department is now fully stocked with items not found in other retail stores in the country.

Liquors exclusive to Duty Free Philippines include Royal Salute 100 Cask by Chivas Brothers; Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a premium blend in a limited-edition box designed by Alfred Dunhill; the Macallan 1824 Collection Select Oak, Whisky Maker’s Edition, Estate Reserve, Oscuro, and Decanter III; and Johnnie Walker Explorers’ Club Spice Road.

Meanwhile, the watch department now has three categories—fashion, mid-Swiss, and high-end. Among the brands are Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, AX Armani, and Philippe Charriol.

Chocolates

The chocolates section is its top-selling department, comprising 34 percent of the mall’s total shares. There are See’s Candies of California, Ghirardelli and Godiva.

There are also chocolate promo items. For a specific number of chocolates purchased, a shopper could get free and exclusive items like  folding chairs, hair curlers, flat irons and even mini refrigerators.
