As one of Southeast Asia’s most visited tourist destinations for both leisure and business, the Tourism Malaysia is proud to present MyFEST 2015 Tour and Road Show. Targeting local travel agencies and other tourism industry professionals, MyFEST 2015 has also reached out to universities such as Centro Escolar University to promote the beauty and rich cultural diversity of Malaysia.

To complement the momentum that the Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014 campaign has started, MyFEST 2015 will have over 200 exciting events and festivities to be shared to its visitors. This campaign aims to give tourists a magical holiday experience. Malaysia is expecting to welcome around 30 million tourists to the country with the help of this campaign.

Hence, Tourism Malaysia-Manila conducted an exciting road show. Invitees included state tourism boards, tour operators and product owners from Malaysia. These delegates had a chance to meet with their local counterparts in the Philippines with one objective altogether, which is to mutually promote the wonders of both Malaysia and the Philippines.

One of the stops of the road show was Centro Escolar University (CEU) wherein HRM and Tourism students took part in the various presentations prepared by Tourism Malaysia and its event partners Sabah Tourism Board, Legoland Malaysia Resort, Malaysia Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and Berjaya Makati Hotel.

Established in 1907, Centro Escolar University has long provided a rich and stimulating academic environment to promote creative and scholarly academic pursuits among its faculty, thus, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, moral values, and an appreciation for arts and culture that would prepare them to become productive and innovative professionals with a commitment to nation building in the context of one world.

Its participation in the MyFEST 2015 tour and road show is highly appreciated by Tourism Malaysia. The exchange of knowledge and ideas that will further boost the interest of tourism in Malaysia and the Philippines is definitely something that elicits excitement from both parties.

Aside from interesting tourism presentations and cultural performances, MyFEST 2015 tour and road show also treated participants to exciting raffle prizes from event sponsors, which include airline tickets.
