This DIY project may require more than just your pair of hands and some skill in carpentry. Our private projects have lately been based on the trend of using sustainable or reclaimed wood for that “industrial” look. We thought it would be more interesting to inspire our readers with more advanced projects that they can easily do at home. This one is both aesthetically pleasing and useful for any home.

 

With the help of our project partner, architect/contractor Dandriv Perez, we designed this open wall shelf out of reclaimed wood, or what could otherwise be scrap wood from an old project.

 

It is a fairly easy project, although more advanced than our usual one, but definitely something any of you can undertake with a little help.

 

Measure the wall where you intend to install your shelving unit. Get the necessary measurements of the shelving unit in the size you want.
