A feast of well-loved Filipino favorites will delight foodies at the Fiesta Comida De La Calle (or Street Food Festival) ongoing until May 3 at Robinsons Place Manila’s Padre Faura Wing.

 

The food fest is the mall’s way of celebrating the Department of Tourism’s monthlong food festival dubbed “Flavors of the Philippines.”

 

Robinsons Place Manila’s Padre Faura Wing draws inspiration from the popular Remedios Circle, a foodie haven for the artistic crowd in the heart of Ermita, Manila.

 

For this culinary fair, dining establishments such as Max’s, Aristocrat, Mangan, Cabalen and Isla Café are participating.

 

Diverse Filipino dishes, comfort food and tasty pasalubong from various regions in the country await all food lovers. Mall-goers will get to learn the different ways to prepare turon (banana fritters) through an interactive cooking demo.

 

The Ermita Malate Business Owners Association (Emboa) supports Robinsons Place Manila in its various initiatives which aim to relive Filipino culture and tradition in the heart of Manila. Fiesta Comida De La Calle is one of Emboa and Robinsons Malls’ endeavors in reviving and strengthening Manila as a tourist destination.
