BEFORE the makeover

ONCE school is out for the summer, high school students have the freedom to play around with their hairstyles. They can also experiment with color, regardless of their hair’s length.

Laurent Hebert loves experiment- ing, and has a knack for suggesting the right shade for your hair even if you have never tried coloring it before.

The result is that it always leaves the client surprised but satisfied.
Having his own salon called L1H2 by Revage, Hebert collaborates with 2bU for the first time in a summer makeover theme.

Through the years, Hebert has developed his own style of cutting, such that even if you haven’t gone to the salon for a month, hair growth still looks good and manageable. For this session, Jasmin’s hair,
which reached her lower back, was cut to shoulder length.

Then Hebert combined three different shades for hair color from L’Oreal Professionnel, using one shade of highlights and two shades of lowlights.

Hebert said that these highlights are easy to maintain and don’t need regular visits to the salon to keep the color. The three shades would blend together in time, giving hair a soft summer glow.
