Bloggys 2015, the Philippines’ premiere blog awarding event, opens nominations for the best Filipino blogs and bloggers starting today, Tuesday, September 1. The event will give recognition to the most outstanding Philippine blogs from different categories during its culmination in November 2015.
Netizens are encouraged to send their picks for the 18 blog categories:

- Corporate and Brand
- Family and Relationships
- Food and Dining
- Fiction and Literature
- Health and Fitness
- Lifestyle and Hobbies

- Photo Blog
- Society and Politics
- Sports and Recreation
- Technology and Gadgets
- Travel and Places
A jury panel composed of mass media’s most esteemed personalities and cyberspace’s most influential bloggers will cast their votes to determine the cream of the crop. Winners will be awarded on the event’s Gala Night, to be held on November 21 at SMX Aura in Taguig City.
Some of the members of the jury panel include Ms. Maria Ressa, founder and CEO of online social news network Rappler; Mr. John Nery, editor-in-chief of INQUIRER.net (also a media partner of the event) and Mr. Donald Lim, the Chief Digital head of ABS-CBN.
Bloggys 2015 is organized by Essays.ph, the Philippines’ biggest network of freelance writers and bloggers. It aims to spread awareness and interest in online blogging by shining the spotlight on outstanding and noteworthy blogs and bloggers in the country.
