Learn how to make it in the business of visual arts | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Join Scout Magazine for a day with a few of the country’s established artists and designers to talk about the local creative industry, launching careers, and making it in the business of the visual arts. Notable creatives such as fashion photographer Mark Nicdao, independent filmmaker Pepe Diokno, Inksurge, fashion videographer Fold Canela, stylist Maita Baello from Qurator Studios, writer Cai Subijano of Preen.ph, and entrepreneur Edric Chua of Satchmi will be invited to give an exclusive look inside their respective visual fields as they encourage the participants to start a career in the visual arts. The fun doesn’t stop there, as we will also have live music courtesy of independent acts such as Moonwlk and Curtismith. Guests will also be invited to check out our curated art gallery, located at Hole in the Wall, that will showcase works from local up and coming artists.

Also, get the chance to have your work critiqued by selected speakers in the Behance Portfolio Review, happening right after the talks. 10 participants per visual field – Film, Photography, and Graphic Design – will be invited to have their work critiqued by selected speakers.

Music, Art, and a whole lot of creativity await you on the 14th of November, at the Activity Hall in Century City Mall, Makati City.
For tickets and registration details for the Scout Creative Talks, visit our website at: www.scoutmag.ph/creativetalks. Last day to reserve and pay tickets is November 12, 2015.
