Before being crowned Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has been writing fashion and beauty stories for the Inquirer.

In a Philippine Daily Inquirer article, Wurtzbach was described as “too low-key,” who would do her work quietly at the newspaper’s headquarters in Makati City.

“Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach would do her work quietly, sometimes for long hours, and would go down sometimes to the editorial office to greet the Lifestyle staff. She would usually be in a T-shirt and cropped pants,” the article said.
