WELCOME the Year of the Red Fire Monkey on Feb. 8 at Resorts World Manila by dining at its Passion, Prosperity Court, Victoria Harbour Café and Impressions restaurants.

 

 

Cantonese fine dining restaurant Passion has Lucky Family Feast specials priced at P10,000 net. Executive chef David Chu Wai Fung will prepare premium Poon Choi or big bowls with Shanghai-style pork, prawns, white chicken, roasted crispy duck.

 

 

For P5,980, one can also have a traditional Hakka bowl with Muy Choi pork, pork tendon, crab meat ball. Boxed tikoy rice cakes are also available starting at P700.

 

 

At Prosperity Court, sous chef Isagani Gonzales offers Chicken Asado Pizza at P420. Asian Combo Meal with pancit canton, vegetable spring rolls, steamed chicken in soy sauce and siu mai can also be had for P380.

 

 

Authentic Hong Kong diner Victoria Harbour Café serves lomi with pork, squid balls and tiger prawn at P300; beef balls noodle soup at P320, made by chef de cuisine Charlie Simangan. Featured dessert is osmanthus aloe vera, P150.

 

 

On Feb. 7, Impressions French restaurant will be offering a Meaty Banquet, a brunch buffet set prepared by chef Cyrille Soenen.

Diamond Hotel Philippines’ will be serving Chinese dishes at the lunch and dinner buffet at Corniche restaurant from Feb. 5-9. Enjoy traditional Chinese New Year dishes such as Chinese Roasted Suckling Pig, Steamed Grouper, Peking Duck, Chinese Prawn Salad and Assorted Dimsum, Mango Pudding and tikoy.
