Reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach has reunited with her fellow Binibining Pilipinas queen and Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up Janine Tugonon in San Francisco, California.

 

Tugonon on Friday took to Instagram to share a photo of her with Wurtzbach, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

 

“Never too late! Congratulations, thank you and love you our @missuniverse @piawurtzbach!” Tugonon wrote in the caption.

Tugonon shared another photo of them on a cable car, which she said she found “cute.”

Wurtzbach returned to the United States on Sunday after a week-long homecoming to the Philippines, to continue fulfill her duties as Miss Universe.

 

Tugonon was close to winning the Miss Universe crown in 2012, but lost to Miss USA Olivia Culpo, who served as one of the judges in Wurtzbach’s coronation. YG/IDL
