FOLLOWING the success of last year’s search for the first-ever #UltimateBandkada, Greenwich, the barkada’s favorite pizza chain in the Philippines, launches Season 2 of this exciting contest for fresh Filipino musical talents.

To qualify, a group must have at least three members aged 18 to 35 from Metro Manila or the Greater Metro Manila area. All band members should be well-versed in different musical genres like rock, pop, hip-hop, reggae and EDM (electronic dance music).

To audition, go online through the contest’s official website: https://www.ultimatebandkada.com, and follow these instructions:

1) Take a 1-minute video of the band performing a song that is a mash-up of two different musical genres. (Ex: hip-hop and pop or reggae and EDM.)

2) Have one band representative register the group at the contest’s official website, https://www.ultimatebandkada.com, and fill up all the required information.

3) Upload the video in MP4 format (in a file size no bigger than 300 MB) on the website.

4) Wait for the confirmation e-mail indicating that the entry has been received.

The top eight finalists will be notified via phone call and e-mail and will battle it out for the grand prize of P100,000 and a record deal with a major music label.

The second placer will win P60,000 while the third placer will receive P 40,000.
