BOTTEGA Veneta Home Collection designed by creative director Tomas Maier

THE NEW Bottega Veneta Home Collection presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan last April was designed by the brand’s creative director Tomas Maier.

The pieces complement each other, from the clean lines of the Rudi seating elements to the utterly modern arch tables in a strong and polished combination of bronze and matte oak.

In a further celebration of Bottega Veneta’s profound affinity and identification with impeccable craftsmanship, the sofas and tables are joined by a chest of drawers entirely sheathed in suede or leather. Finishes include a top in marble or wood, and discreet yet outstanding bronze handles which feature the iconic intrecciato pattern on the sides.

A series of sterling silver collectible boxes, each bearing the name of a planet and embellished with semiprecious stones, along with a hand-painted porcelain dining service, complete the collection.

A collaboration between Bottega Veneta and Osanna Visconti di Modrone, the Italian designer produced distinctive and singularly individualistic designs: a set of bronze tables with a surface that pays tribute to the house’s signature intrecciato motif.

Refined suedes and leathers, bold, strong and contrasting travertine, bronze and oak, marble and silver as well as delicate bone fine porcelain are now presented with this new line.

The Home Collection has organically evolved from Maier’s first design, a single bench which he created alongside Bottega Veneta’s skilled artisans in 2006. Since then, the house has developed the home design and presented full collections of furniture and home accessories.

The new furniture pieces of the Home Collection are:

A relaxed seating family named Rudi made in collaboration with Poltrona Frau and composed of four different styles (club chair, foot rest, three seating couch and a day bed) available in fabric (velvet or linen), suede and leather.

Bronze round arch tables in two versions: eight or five arches at the base structure. These unique pieces combine the bronze structure, honey veined travertine, or matte oak in Espresso or Ardoise colors.

Exclusive, unique bronze tables by Osanna Visconti di Modrone for Bottega Veneta, whose surface recalls the intrecciato leather pattern, result of the collaboration between the Italian designer and the house. Handmade, available in three sizes.

A chest of six drawers covered in either suede or leather and featuring Bottega Veneta’s iconic bronze handles combined with marble or wooden top.

A lamp which takes inspiration from the folding family, featuring a bronze finished structure with intrecciato details in black leather and a plain black leather shade.

The new home accessories are:

A porcelain set featuring a full décor in Ash color with a border in oxidized silver. Realized in collaboration with Koenigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur.

A stainless steel collection of flatware featuring a vintage finishing and laser-cut intrecciato pattern.

New soft blankets in alpaca and wool and Berber-style carpets reinterpreted using the unique patterns and color combinations of Bottega Veneta.

A collection of eight unique silver sterling boxes with semiprecious stones named after planets Mercury, Earth, Uranus, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, Saturn.

In the Philippines, Bottega Veneta is at Greenbelt 4 and Shangri-La Plaza East Wing. Follow @ssilifeph on Instagram for more information.
