Actress Vivian Velez may be an avid supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, but she’s not happy with his decision to appoint musician Freddie Aguilar as head of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

On her Facebook page Velez voiced her opposition to the appointment, saying the position “cannot be run by just anybody… It entails a higher educational background on the arts and management skills…
“Ano ang meron kay Freddie Aguilar para ma-qualify siya sa position na yan? While admittedly President Duterte has a soft spot for Freddie, I am afraid the move is ill-advised…”
