Behind the scenes before a unique wedding | Lifestyle.INQ

Creating someone’s dream wedding may be a very stressful job. Wedding organizers always have that challenge of juggling and managing all sorts of suppliers from string quartets to caterers and florists. As romantic as flowing wedding gowns and rustic vintage table arrangements may look though, planning a wedding is definitely a tough and fun job.

Imagine then how a group of organizers would plan seventeen weddings happening all at the same time and at the same place?

Last July 30, seventeen couples who were part of the MAY FOREVER: KASALAN SA LANCASTER NEW CITY took their wedding vows together at the Church of the Holy Family in Cavite. Of course, their weddings would not be complete without a pre-nuptial shoot where the couples would transform into stars and models for a day and capture their beautiful memories forever.

Enter the organizers’ first kasalang bayan wedding challenge… creating a memorable prenup shoot marathon for the seventeen couples all done in a day!

As early as seven in the morning, Julius Marquez, together with his group of professional hair and make-up artists, were already busy tinkering with their brushes and hair sprays to make the brides-to-be ready for their outdoor shoots. Each couple wore soft, natural looking make-up that made them glow over the picturesque background.

What happened next was a combination of good scheduling, nice acting (the couples’), and artistic photography skills. Ian Santillan Photography did an excellent job in creating both cheerful and dramatic shots of the seventeen couples all around Lancaster during that warm and sunny day.

Both Ian and Julius took on the invitation to be part of a kasalang bayan celebration knowing that despite the challenges, it was indeed a one-of-a-kind heartwarming experience that not all wedding suppliers can have.
