Manila International Book Fair opens Sept. 14 at SMX | Lifestyle.INQ

MIBF 2016The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), one of the country’s most-awaited events for book lovers, opens Wednesday, Sept. 14, and runs until Sept. 18 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Now on its 37th year, the MIBF is the country’s biggest and longest-running book fair with the largest and most varied collection of literature for leisure and academic reading, including best-selling novels, textbooks, graphic novels, religious publications, as well as stationery and school supplies.

The MIBF will simultaneously host two exciting co-located events. Animé lovers and cosplayers should watch out for the much-awaited Best of Anime 2016 on Sept. 17-18. To be held Sept. 13-15 is the Philippine International Conference on Teacher Education.
