We continue the Q&A with Cebu’s bright young things, whom we caught up with at “Glitterati 6: Life in Technicolor,” the sixth installment of the annual fashion show at The Northwing at SM City Cebu which features teenage personalities.

Favorite breakfast place: Tymad on Maria Luisa Road, Banilad. I usually order a ham and egg sandwich for breakfast.

 

Favorite restaurant: Yushoken

 

Favorite weekend hangout: The mall, to catch a movie with my friends

 

 

Favorite destination outside the city: San Remigio. I like the nice, calm waters of the beaches there.

 

Favorite dessert place: Gelatissimo for its green tea gelato

Favorite bar/club: The Distillery in Crossroads, Banilad

 

Favorite place to spend time with family: The beach

 

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? The people

Favorite breakfast place: Home. I usually just have a bowl of Frosties cereal.

Favorite restaurants: Moshi Moshi on Maria Luisa Road and Ginza in Banilad

 

Favorite weekend hangout: The beaches on Mactan Island

 

Favorite destination outside the city: Danasan Eco Adventure Park in Danao, Northern Cebu

 

Favorite place to take an out-of-town guest: Pandanon Island. I like the fine, white sand, and it’s fun to go with friends.

 

Favorite dessert place: La Marea for the classic brownie cup

 

Favorite bar/club: I don’t go out.

 

Favorite place to spend time with family: At home

 

Terence Myron Colmenares, 18

 

School: University of San Carlos

Favorite breakfast place: Pancake House. I get the pancakes or tapa for breakfast.

 

Favorite destination outside the city: Virgin Island in Bantayan for the fine sand and clear waters. It’s really peaceful there. It’s like paradise.

 

Favorite dessert place: Gelatissimo for the coffee gelato

 

Favorite bar/club: Craft Cafébar in Banilad Town Centre

 

Favorite place to spend time with family: The beach in Shangri-La

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? Good people, lively city. There are so many awesome destinations to go to.

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? The friendly people!

Favorite breakfast place: Abaca Baking Company in Crossroads. I order a coffee and the mac ’n’ cheese.

 

Favorite restaurant: Café Saree for lunch and Delice Recipe in Busay for dinner

 

Favorite weekend hangout: The beach in Shangri-La Mactan

 

Favorite destination outside the city: Oslob for the marine life. I also really enjoy swimming with the whale sharks.

 

Favorite place to take an out-of-town guest: Tabogon in Northern, Cebu. We have a beach house there, and I enjoy relaxing with my family on the beach.

 

Favorite dessert place: La Marea. I get the mochi balls or their apple pie.

 

Favorite bar/club: F Café and Bar

 

Favorite place to spend time with family: The mall to watch a movie

 

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? The people.

Favorite breakfast place: Pancake House. I usually order a golden waffle with country sausage.

 

Favorite restaurant: Tavolata in Design Center of Cebu

 

Favorite destination outside the city: Tops for the fresh air and the view

 

Favorite place to take an out-of-town guest: The beach, especially the North Sandbar

 

Favorite dessert place: Fat Cow Burgers & Malts for the ice cream sandwich

 

Favorite bar/club: Basic for the music and the atmosphere.

 

Favorite place to spend time with family: Mactan. I love going to our beach house there.

 

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? The people

Favorite breakfast place: Home, of course! I love anything and everything that goes with peanut butter!

 

Favorite restaurant: Gerry’s Grill any time of the day

 

Favorite weekend activity: Having brunch with friends and family on a Saturday morning.

 

Favorite destination outside the city: Our mountain house in Gaas, Balamban

 

Favorite place to take an out-of-town guest: Sugbo Mercado, a weekend market in I.T. Park and Cebu Business Park, and the beach. My favorite beach is in Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel.

 

Favorite dessert place: The Chocolate Chamber for the cinnamon hot chocolate and the vegan chocolate gateau

 

Favorite place to spend time with family: Home

 

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? It’s a lovely place with lovely people.

Favorite breakfast place: Home for chocolate pancakes

 

Favorite restaurants: Giuseppe for lunch and Nonki for dinner

 

Favorite weekend hangout: Aerosports. I like the basketball area.

 

Favorite destination outside the city: San Remigio. We have a beach house there, and I enjoy going on long weekends.

 

Favorite place to take an out-of-town guest: Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort because it’s by Oslob, so I can go see the whale sharks.

 

Favorite dessert place: La Marea for their classic brownie cup.

 

Favorite bar/club: I’m not old enough to go to one.

 

What is the best thing about living in Cebu? Everything.
