For creative director and designer Rafe Totengco, New York City is a good place to find yourself. Perpetually inspired by the energy, creativity and diversity of The Big Apple, Rafe has collaborated with Philippine clothing and lifestyle brand Bench for a capsule collection that combines his Filipino heritage and his New Yorker sensibilities.

Rafe X Bench is a collection that was crafted with the Filipino’s fast-paced life in mind. Despite being inspired by a city that’s thousands of miles away, the collection boasts apparel that reflects the Filipino spirit.

The pieces are wearable and with as many combinations as possible, says Rafe. Every bit a practical collection, it uses lightweight denim for the clothes, and cotton canvas for the bags. The clothes from this highly urban collection play around with a timeless color
