MANILA, Philippines – Draft Gastropub and Paulaner kicked off Oktoberfest last October 15 at Draft Gastropub Greenbelt with fun-filled beer games, live musical performances, exciting eats and Paulaner Oktobefest Bier, Germany’s number one wheat beer and one of the world’s most favorite brew, to complete an authentic ‘Oktoberfestivities’!

The restaurant was decorated with festive buntings, a photo wall and standee where guests posed for souvenir photos. There were also models who wore the traditional German drindles, completing the ultimate Oktoberfest experience.
Draft also rolled out the barrel of fun as guests participated in good-natured tournaments of arm wrestling, beer pong and beer drinking challenges. Abi Assistio provided the live music during the whole event.

What’s the perfect match to German beer in an Oktoberfest setting? Sausages, of course! So Chef Carlo Miguel prepared heart Bratwurst, Bockwurst, Italian and Andouille sausages and their perfect foil such as sides of sauerkraut, double mashed potato, corn sucottash, frites and spaetzle.

Following its successful Oktoberfest launch in Greenbelt, Draft and Paulaner will bring the celebration to Draft in Alabang on October 22 before wrapping it up with an oom-pah on October 29 at their branch in The Fort Strip, BGC.

So get ready to gear up in those dirndls and lederhosens and practice saying “Prost!” and get a taste of beer history at Draft Gastropub. ADVT
