Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas is asking parishioners in the province not to dress their children and themselves in outfits that depict demons, witches, vampires, zombies and creatures from local folklore like the tikbalang, aswang and kapre on All Saints’ Day.

Summit Ridge in Tagaytay City, Cavite will hold the Eat, Shriek and Be Scary Halloween Weekend on Oct. 30, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

There will be  magic shows, movies, arts and crafts workshops, face painting, costume parade, and Volkswagen Junior Driving Course.

 

Sisterfields will have special lunch buffet and dessert station for P599 net per person. Halloween-themed starters include Mummy in a Blanket (with hotdog inside), Witches’ Chicken Fingers, Blood-eye Burger Slides and Vomit Chips and dips.

 

 

Main dishes: Skull Goulash Stew, Battered Fish Fillet with Fly Bean Sauce, Frankenstein Ribs, Wormy Pasta with Bloody Ragu sauce and Dirty Rice Larvae.

 

Desserts: Halloween Cupcake, Rip Chocolate Mousse, Brownie coffin, Spider cookies, Eye Panna Cotta and Pineapple bread.

At Century Mall

 

Century City Mall  will hold Halloween events on Oct. 29. 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

 

Mystery Manila offers groups the chance to “communicate with spirits” and unlock the Chest of Century City.

 

Winners will get VIP cinema passes.

 

At 6 p.m.,  top bands Sandwich, Imago, Rivermaya, Kjwan, Autotelic, Sud, Apartel will perform in a concert.

 

On Oct. 30, kids can join the Century Mall’s trick-or-treat at 1-3 p.m. Participants must register first in the concierge’s desk.
