Beating the Heat with Mang Inasal’s National Halo-Halo Sarap Day | Lifestyle.INQ

If the sweltering heat we’ve been experiencing the past few weeks tell us anything, it’s that summer is definitely here. The weather may be perfect for hitting the beach, but it’s a totally different story when you’re in the Metro. Despite all our efforts to beat the summer heat, we still can’t shake off that sweaty feeling whenever we go outside.

The good news is that even if you’re in the city, you can still beat the heat with a cool, refreshing merienda. And what better way to help you cool down than to have a bowl of one of the Filipinos’ favorite, halo-halo?

Mang Inasal knows that Filipinos crave nothing as much as they crave halo-halo during hot summer days. That’s why last March 19, 2017, over 450 Mang Inasal branches nationwide participated in the celebration of National Halo-Halo Sarap Day. For only Php 25 per small bowl and Php 45 per regular bowl, customers got the chance to escape the summer heat with the creamy goodness of the classic Filipino dessert and merienda.

Pinoys flocked to the participating branches to get a taste of Mang Inasal’s so creamy so sarap Pinoy Halo-Halo. And some were in for an even bigger surprise as they were treated to special guest appearances from Mang Inasal brand ambassadors.

Coco Martin surprised Mang Inasal customers at SM Fairview, Quezon City. While Angel Locsin eagerly greeted fans at the Mang Inasal branch in SM East Ortigas, Pasig City.
