Hollywood actor and comedian Jonah Hill has netizens excited over his dramatic weight loss. Hill, who reportedly gained 40 pounds for his recent role in “War Dogs,” has lost all the weight and more.

A photo of a much trimmer Hill in a blue sleeveless shirt leaving what seems to be the gym has been circulating on the internet, and everyone is happy for him. He is, after all, known to be one of the nice guys in Hollywood.

Weight loss, however, is not new to him. Hill’s weight has fluctuated over the years. He first lost weight in 2011. His formula then is as simple as his formula now—he went to see a nutritionist, kept a food diary and went to see a personal trainer. And he stopped drinking beer altogether.

He told The Kyle and Jackie O Show: “I went to a nutritionist and I said, ‘I’ll lose weight, I’ll eat healthier and whatever, but figure out how I can drink beer.’ It’s so annoying because when I don’t drink beer, I get really, really thin. Then when I drink beer, I get a little bigger.”

Hill also told ABC News in 2011 that the key to weight loss was all about diet. “I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something, but I went to see a nutritionist and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff,” Hill said.

In a more recent interview on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Hill said he asked his friend, “21 Jump Street” costar Channing Tatum for advice on getting into shape again.

“I called Channing Tatum and said, ‘Hey, if I eat less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?’

“And he said, ’Yes, you dumb motherf—er, of course, you will. It’s the simplest thing in the entire world.’”
