A company called Cabin, formerly known as SleepBus, has begun offering overnight trips between cities. The trips include private cabins for an eight-hour ride.

According to Cabin’s website, the route is currently limited to between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Travelers can avail of the $115 one-way ticket to go from L.A. to S.F. and vice versa.

Apart from a personal sleeping pod, the bus also employs attendants, has free WiFi, offers nighttime tea, provides complimentary ear plugs, a reading light and a personal electrical outlet. There’s even freshly brewed coffee when you wake up the next day.

The bus allows two pieces of luggage per person and buses are scheduled to leave at 11 p.m., arriving at the destination by seven in the morning.

Cabin’s site describes its service as a “one-of-a-kind moving hotel [that] consolidates both transportation and accommodation into one simple and delightful experience, enabling you to travel without travel time.” JB
