A US men’s choir entertained plane passengers with their rendition of Smokey Mountain’s “Da Coconut Nut” while flying from Kenya.

In a playful clip posted on Emirates Airlines’ social media pages, the 75-member Baylor University School of Music Men’s Choir performed the wacky song, which was composed by Ryan Cayabyab. Amused with the impromptu gig, passengers and the plane crew went nuts and danced with them.

The Texas-based choir was in Kenya for a mission trip.

“Da Coconut Nut” was popularized by the Filipino pop group in the early ’90s. The song’s choral arrangement has been sung both by local and international choirs. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
