Sticking to your beauty routine can be a challenge when the weather is unpredictable. One moment, it’s unbearably hot and humid, only to be followed by pouring rain.
Here are my makeup and skincare suggestions for fickle weather.
Natural beauty
After cleansing and moisturizing your face, use a light sunscreen. Even if the sun is blotted out by clouds, we still need protection from its harmful UV rays.
This also prevents premature aging and dark spots. I personally like Bioré’s UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream.
For a natural look, there’s Etude House’s Precious Mineral BB Cream SPF 30 PA++. This gives your face a dewy, pearl-like finish.
To keep makeup in place, lightly apply Nichido’s Final Powder in “So Natural,” a sheer loose powder that highlights your natural glow.

Contour allure
Highlight and contour, if done right, define the face and give it a healthy glow. Consider Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette.

Luscious lips
These days, the market is filled with endless lip products and colors to choose from. Feel free to experiment until you find what’s best for you.
I still prefer moisturizing lipsticks and tinted lip balms because they make lips look healthier and more luscious. For this season, I suggest pink and red hues as opposed to warmer colors.

Between school, getting stuck in traffic and attending extracurricular activities, no one actually gets a good night’s sleep anymore. When even concealer can’t do the trick, Tony Moly’s Panda’s Dream: So Cool Eye Stick reduces puffiness, smoothens fine lines and brightens tired-looking eyes. Apply before makeup as a primer or as needed during the day over makeup.

Come clean
Never hit the sack without cleansing your face of makeup and accumulated dirt because they cause whiteheads and blackheads.
L’Oreal Micellar Water is a 3-in-1 product that cleanses, removes makeup and soothes skin. It does not require rinsing and leaves skin smooth and hydrated.

All-around oil
