Happy Skin has released its holiday collection and it’s a dream come true for Sanrio fans.
The 23-piece collection—the brand’s biggest yet—features products inspired by Hello Kitty, My Melody and Little Twin Stars. “We really studied their personalities,” said Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, Happy Skin cofounder.

The lippies, of course. So many girls are obsessed with Happy Skin’s lipsticks and we totally understand why. They’re a breeze to wear, they just glide on, and the colors are beautiful. The Happy Skin X Sanrio Characters Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippie and Matte Lippie shades are no different—Hello, Hello Kitty is a delicious apple pie shade, Best of Friends is a blushing rose, Flower Power is a brick red, Berry Good is a deep berry. The Shut Up & Kiss Me Liquid Matte Lippie shades from the collection are Kitty Cat (a cool red matte), Twinkle Twinkle (nude honey) and Star Wand (deep blush). We want them all. The lippie sets make perfect gifts too.
The blush. The Get Cheeky With Me All-Day Hydrating Blush, which is available in Hello Kitty (peach powder blush) and My Melody (wine-red). Each compact comes with a moon brush making application easy. “We are excited about our new face products,” said Rissa.
The nail polish. Happy Skin’s Express Gel Polish is 10-free and gel-like without the need for a UV lamp. It’s a base and color in one, so all you need is a top coat and you’re good to go. Red Apples, the Hello Kitty-inspired true red; Curious Kiki, which is such a pretty light blue; and Lala Love, a baby pink shade.
The makeup wipes, which Rissa is really excited about. “Sa fashion show and photo shoots, I need makeup wipes. The ones you find here are so thin that you need like five sheets to take off a full makeup face. But these are soaked in micellar water and the surface is textured so it really sweeps away liquid lipsticks.” Happy Skin X Sanrio Characters Make A Clean Sweet Micellar Makeup Wipes come packed with aloe vera and chamomile to soothe and refresh the skin. Each pack contains 25 wipes and, according to Rissa, you will need just one wipe each time you want to remove your makeup.
