Oktoberfest at Sofitel
Oktoberfest at Sofitel

The 79th German Club Oktoberfest will be held on Oct. 6 and 7 at Sofitel Philippine Plaza.

Now on its eighth year at Sofitel’s Harbor Garden Tent, the German beer festival will pay homage to time-honored Bavarian customs. The Harbor Tent will be transformed into a traditional “biergärten.”

Expecting more than 2,000 guests, Sofitel’s master chefs will serve Bavarian specialties including roasted pork knuckles, roasted calf, laugen rolls, grilled German sausages and mouthwatering pastries, with unlimited ice-cold San Miguel Beer.

The Bavarian Sound Express will fly in from Germany to perform traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest music and international hits.

The program will also feature the annual beer-drinking contest and raffle draw with a grand prize that will take the winner to a destination of choice in Germany.

Oktoberfest guests may book a weekend getaway at Sofitel, with room rates starting at P6,000 nett per night.

For tickets, call the German Club Manila at 894 2899 or email [email protected]. For inquiries and room reservation, call Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila at 551 5555 or email [email protected].
