Birgit Kos, Luisana Gonzalez headline Topshop’s Fall 2017 campaign
In their debut campaign for Topshop, rising models Birgit Kos and Luisana Gonzalez reveal the collection in a series of images shot in London by Giampaolo Sgura and styled by Topshop creative director Kate Phelan.
“For Fall Winter 2017, we were inspired to capture a sense of reality—through place, space and time,” says Phelan. “The Topshop girl lives in reality, with her feet firmly on the ground, and wears her clothes in her own individual way.”
Kos, the sought-after 21-year-old Dutch model, was first discovered at a shopping mall in Amsterdam at age 14.
Now represented by The Society Management agency, she has since opened the show for Miu Miu and walked for Celine, Versace and Alexander McQueen.
Gonzalez, 22, managed by Elite models, entered the spotlight in 2014 after winning a competition in her native Republic of Dominica.
She has since walked for Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang, Coach and Tommy Hilfiger.
