Landers has finally found a home in the south,” said Gwen Lim, president of Landers Superstore, one of the biggest membership shopping stores in the country. Landers Alabang West officially opened its doors yesterday to those living in the southern part of Metro Manila.

Located along Daang Hari Road, Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City, Landers is expected to cater to the needs of its members with brands and products not found in any other retail outlets or supermarkets, from home décor, linens and toiletries to wines, liquor, kitchen utensils and furniture.

“Landers has developed itself into a lifestyle destination where people can get good buys and experience exclusive services,” Lim said. “The strength of our stores is the assortment of merchandise available that’s also surprisingly affordable.”

Landers carries a good mix of imported and local products not necessarily available at wholesale prices. Shoppers can buy items per piece or tingi as in a regular retail supermarket—a can of milk, perhaps, a loaf of bread or a sachet of shampoo.

As much as possible, Lim said, Landers also sells items in small or travel-pack sizes to give consideration to small families who don’t need huge, multipack sizes. This way, families can save more and spend more for household necessities.

Exclusive items

For the Landers Alabang West opening, nearly all goods and merchandise come at 50-percent discounts, with a lot of buy one-take one deals.

Pinky Angodung, Landers marketing director, said Landers features items exclusive only to them, including Badia Spices, Double Rainbow ice cream (with soy, organic and custard varieties), Marie Morin desserts, Stoneridge Orchards dried fruits, Koita Milk variety and Gelato Madre.

“Of course, they should also try our food at Landers Central, which offers New York-style pizza, pasta, burger, salad and soup, and our Dough and Co pastries,” Angodung said.

People from the south can enjoy easy shopping in a well-lit, wide-aisle space. Also inside the store is Federal Barbers, which gives free haircuts to all members. Landers also offers fuel discounts of P2 off per liter for gasoline and P1.50 off per liter for diesel to all its members at a Caltex gas station situated inside the parking lot.

Make use of Landers membership promo of 50-percent off until April 30 for only P400. For easier membership applications, visit https://landers.ph.
