IT WAS A NIGHT TO REMEM- ber as The Tides Hotel Boracay recently held its second anniversary festivities. Celebrities such as Raymond Gutierrez, RJ Ledesma, Teresa Herrera, and Alvin Pulga flew to Boracay (via Seair?s 35-minute flights) to celebrate.
Among its many distinctions, The Tides Hotel Boracay won the 2009 Consumers Choice Award for Most Outstanding Luxury Destination Hotel. This chic boutique hotel was also cited in the prestigious New York Times as one of the 44 Places To Go in 2009, an honor not many hotels around the world can claim.
The first party had a nautical theme with guests dressed in blue and white and danced the night away to the beat of DJ Santi. Teresa Herrera, host of Project Runway Philippines, led guests in a Trance Dance Yoga Class on the second day.
This set off the sunset session party with the theme ?Going Green.? Nivat Chantarachoti, general manager of Thai Airways, awarded Herrera a roundtrip ticket to Phuket, Thailand, for her environment conservation efforts. Guests left with a gift pack of skin care DNAge products of Nivea.
Partners Erik Cua, Stephen Ku, Tim Yap, Fernando Aracama and GP Reyes gave a toast to thank affiliate companies such as Seair, Nivea, Chivas, and Absolut and media partners.
