As she gamely posed in front of the camera during our photo shoot and changed from one outfit to another—sans the unpleasant bravado some celebrities are known for—it was evident that she walked the talk.

As she rocked every sportswear-inspired outfit in her noticeably toned physique, Calzado was quick to say that her goal was never to be stick-thin, but to look and be healthy.
“Starvation is never the key. Fad diets are crap. Eat right and you can actually become more fit. The more muscle you have the more you can burn fat.”
Now an avid runner, her advice on finding the right workout is to “find one that best suits you and your fitness goals. Go online and do your research. Though there are a lot of conflicting ideas on the Net, I’m sure you’ll find something that best appeals to you and actually works for you.”
On her fitness regimen: “It keeps evolving as I learn more about health and fitness, but I’m in a place where I think I’m at my strongest and still getting stronger.”
