Tens of thousands of Asian girls hit puberty every day worldwide. So no matter how often I have written about dark underarm remedies since 1997 there will always be someone who needs an answer now.
There are also new treatments being discovered that are more potent and effective than the last.
One day, I believe the dark pits will be a temporary phase easily surpassed.
By dark I don’t just mean darker than the surrounding areas. I’m talking a smear of brown seven shades darker than the rest of one’s skin, with shadowy gray areas in the center. Such a condition needs a series of treatments, such as the Skin Specialist PCA Peel for Underarms and Whitening Infusion.
The first session is the PCA peel, in which potent serums and creams are applied to compel gentle skin peeling without the sting (for the next 10 days).
You will then be required to come back on the second week for the infusion of skin soothing and whitening vitamins, herbs and minerals that whiten the skin. The ratio is one PCA peel: two infusions spaced 10-14 days apart.

Another treatment is the Belowhite steroidal cream for underarms and dark areas. It requires a skin test before the doctor gives the go signal as some people may be allergic to it.
It’s mandatory to follow doctor’s step-by-step instruction. To go on and off indefinitely may cause chicken skin and itchiness with dark red brown streaks signaling underarm atrophy.
Those with moderate to mildly dark underarms have armpits darker than the rest of the body by three to five shades.
They may want to try Aesthetic Science’s Armpit Scrub with Bleach to attain whiter and smoother underarms. This treatment begins by gently scrubbing the area followed by an application of a whitening mask.
A direct galvanic current is utilized to ensure proper and faster penetration of the mask. The treatment takes 20 minutes for P580. It can be done once a week or for every two weeks.
One may also try a daily regimen to make sure results stay on—gentle exfoliation, skin lightening, odor and sweat annihilators. Whitening deodorants fall into this category.
