Karl Lagerfeld’s Cruise Collection for Chanel revives the Brothel Creepers of London’s ‘80s punk movement—now the ‘It’ shoes to covet for comfort and outrageous originality. They are generous in proportion and seriously frivolous in finishing and flourishes.
The other shoe that, for sure, will be copied to death is the bootie in gold and silver leather with plastic insets. They were inspired by Madame de Pompadour and the court life of Versailles.
