Carinderia Fiesta II at World Trade Center

Because of the overwhelming success of last year’s Carinderia Fiesta, Magnolia Fresh Chicken once again brings you a bigger, more exciting, fun-filled and information-loaded Carinderia Fiesta Year II on October 5 and 6, 2012 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City free to the public.

Last year’s positive feedback from the various sectors of the food industry, the viewing public  and the persistent clamour of carinderia owners was incentive enough to stage Carinderia Fiesta this year with one of the most celebrated and vibrant festivals in the country as this year’s main theme… the Pahiyas Festival.

To date, there are over three million carinderias in the Philippines, which until last year was mostly untapped and underserved. Carinderias are now emerging with a whole new confidence, especially in terms of the quality and safety of the food being served. With the unwavering support of Inquirer Group of Companies, Ginebra San Miguel Group, Magnolia Inc., Purefoods Hormel Group and Petron, Carinderia Fiesta is living up to its promise to help uplift the standard of carinderias while keeping its true-blue Pinoy flavour and identity.

It is a gathering of all business segments from carinderias, sari-sari stores, food and product suppliers, and entrepreneurs. It is altogether a celebration and a forum where they can learn from each other and facilitate a dialogue to eliminate communication barriers between suppliers and consumers. The event is also a vehicle to expand their network, thus opening more doors to welcome improvements, discoveries and innovation.

The two-day fiesta has its own mix of titillating programs and surprizes that will truly bring out the best in every carinderia and help each kusinero and kusinera take pride in their trade.

Carinderia Fiesta seeks the help of all media companies in taking the whole carinderia industry into a whole new level, in effect, changing the way people perceive carinderias.

This year’s line-up of discussions is more informative and at the same time, fun. The nitty-gritty of putting up a business from budgeting, carinderia décor and food display, hygiene and sanitation to expanding their business is now a part of the module called, Carinderia 101.

Carinderia Fiesta won’t be complete without the mouth-watering cooking demonstration of Magnolia Fresh Chicken and Magnolia All Purpose Flour, mixology and flair demonstration of Ginebra San Miguel, cooking contests with Purefoods Star Corned Beef and Star Sweet Ham, health and wellness tips from Star Margarine and Nutri-Oil including energy saving and safety tips from Petron Gasul.

Carinderia Fiesta Year II will also hold the first ever search for Carinderia Queen. It is the best platform for carinderia owners and their family members to showcase not only their talents but also their endearing personality and the untold, inspirational stories behind their thriving carinderia business.  The chosen Carinderia Queen stands to win a Negosyo Condura refrigerator as one of the major prizes. The two-day event will be hosted by Christine Bersola Babao.

Magnolia Fresh Chicken has been a fervent proponent of Carinderia Fiesta from its inception. It is an initiative to establish and build a meaningful and sustaining relationship with all the participating carinderia owners. Consistent with the Alagang Magnolia promise, the brand wishes to continue and nurture this partnership with the Carinderias, who have been loyal customers of Magnolia Fresh Chicken.

Carinderia Fiesta is proud to have these other partners: Lahing Ginebra, GSM Blue, GSM Blue Light, Gran Matador Brandy, Gran Matador Light, Antonov Vodka Mixed Drinks, Barako Bull, Magnolia Pure Water, Magnolia Fruit Drink, Lifedrink, Magnolia Health Tea; Primo D’Italia, Sizzling Sisig, Ulam King, Liver Spread; Cheezee, San Mig Coffee and Dole Philippines, Inc.
