Carine Roitfeld and MAC—perfect combination

By

MAC Desert Camouflage Full Face Kit

I was over the moon when a friend told me Carine Roitfeld was collaborating with MAC. Roitfeld is one of the top fashion names alive, and this editor of CR Fashion-Book and former editor in chief of Vogue Paris from 2001-2012 did not disappoint.

The Desert Camouflage Full Face Kit is a definite must-have. The eyeshadow quad colors are all wearable. Of course, since Carine’s smoky eyes are legendary, it is easy to tell these are the colors she uses on her eyes.

What I most like about this kit is you may also use the colors separately, since they are beautiful earth-toned hues. You get your money’s worth; all the colors in this eye shadow palette are basic shades, so you can build up your line by combining with the other shadows in the set.

A cream blush in Sand Storm is also included when you slide the eyeshadow tray. And the mirror is the size of the eyeshadow quad. All in all, this product is a winner. With or without the Carine signature, I would highly recommend it. Then again, I’m sure it turned out amazing because she chose the palette.

MACmakeup for your eyes

The second full face kit is the Jungle Camouflage Kit. Even if I had already received the Desert Camouflage Kit, I will be in MAC this October for this, too.

Both kits are great colors for smoky eyes, and the eyeshadow colors are great individually, too. I don’t like buying makeup because I do find makeup quite pricey, but these items are a steal!

Here are the other products of Carine Roitfeld and MAC. It’s’ hard not too get excited.
