Realistic price, cool features make the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 a winner | Lifestyle.INQ

A perfect tab is probably the one that is easy to use with virtually limitless features, endless possibilities and ultimate personalization capability. But to roll all these criteria into one “rectangular pinch-to-zoom device with rounded edges” will make its tag price unconscionable.

I have always wanted an iPad, but my mom won’t let me get one. She feels it is expensive and not practical to get another as my brother already has one, and with my meager allowance, I won’t be able to save up before the technology becomes obsolete. But I’ll never give up. Tabs provide a much easier and quicker way to use the Internet for day-to-day things, as well as to access social media and e-mails.

Having initially targeted only an iPad, it was only after a friend’s recommendation and reading  many online reviews that I noticed how much cheaper Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was. After dithering for months on whether or not to get a tablet, my mom finally bought me this device! The tablet is available at a realistic price. Running on superb Android Ice Cream Sandwich, it makes my current phone running on Froyo seem much older.

And it hasn’t disappointed. It’s bigger screen is great for web browsing, and being able to run apps along with your phone is great. This “All Share” feature lets you play the content of your tablet on your TV by simply tapping it over Bluetooth or home Wi-Fi network. Sharing photos with family  is amazingly simple. But one of the key points of the Galaxy Tab 2 for me was the fact that it has a micro SD card slot, so it is easy to expand memory if required.
