Erika turns 18

A radiant Erika Bianca Gonzales Paras celebrated her 18th birthday on Sept. 1 at The Conservatory of the Peninsula Manila in Makati City.
The debutante is a scion of the Paras clan of respected jurists, among whom were Supreme Court Chief Justice Ricardo Mercader Paras and Associate Justice Edgardo Lardizabal Paras.
This beauty and brains Political Science sophomore from Ateneo de Manila, who is the only child and daughter of Department of Justice Chief State Counsel Ricardo V. Paras III and Belen Gonzales of Marinduque, wowed her 150 guests in her gold “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired gown, and for the latter part of the program, a royal-blue mullet dress by Mila Santiago-de Leon.
Guests included Representative Herminigildo Mandanas of Batangas and lovely wife Regina Reyes-Mandanas, Rep. Lord Allan Jay Velasco of Marinduque, provincial administrator of Marinduque Rene Martinez, Toll Regulatory Board executive director Edmundo Reyes II represented by debonair law student Edmundo Reyes Vega, Justice and Mrs. Roman del Rosario of the Office of the Solicitor General, and Consul and Mrs. Henry Bensurto.
Members of the larger Paras and Gonzales families also graced the event. Other guests were classmates and friends from Ateneo de Manila and Montessori de Manila, where Erika attended high school. The master of ceremonies was Sam YG of Magic 89.9.
