Our DIY idea this week is perfect as a hostess gift or a give away for a theme party. It’s simple to put together and will surely amuse your friends.
The materials are quite easy to find. The dim sum basket is available in the Japan Home Store and costs P88. The candles are available in many colors, sizes and shapes. You can find the candles in several stores like SM Shoemart, Daiso, Landmark and in Japan Home Store.
Accents and complementing colored Japanese paper as well as patterned art paper can be found in the scrapbooking area at National Book Store.
This gift is fun and practical and it won’t cost a lot. If you’re having an Oriental-themed dinner party, this will be the perfect giveaway.
Materials:
A box of round floating candles, dim sum basket, colored tissue and patterned art paper.
The finished gift will resemble a dim sum treat that will delight anyone who receives it.
